I haven't even been out yet. Every time I think about targeting some crappie in my local pond, it friggin' snows again! I call BULLS**T!

I hear ya frogg, some over here in MA. Today's the day for me actually. Looks like its going to be warm enough to avoid frostbite while stripping the line. Going to hit up a little stream on my way home from work and see if the bass/bluegill are feeding yet. Wish my 2wt got here already.

This guy felt like a ton of bricks on the line. He definitely did not want to come out of his hole. I'm just glad I remembered I was using 5lb tippet for a change.

HEY!!! We're in the same boat hahah!!

Gonna take a buddy fly fishing this coming weekend for his first time, gonna try him for bass and bluegill....I'll be hunting muskies *evil grin*

The regular Peacock Bass canal usually only produce 1lb bass, perfect for my 4wt. It was a pleasent surprise when this 6 pounder showed up and took the micro popper....
