Couple pics from the Johnny Hoe River, NWT. As far as I know this one of the most northern population of walleye in the world, just south of the Arctic Circle. Was just casting from shore where we were camping.

Took the canoe out this afternoon for some warm water action. Caught tons on small bluegill on a foam spider, and a decent one on a size 2 clouser of all things. Also caught some nice bucket mouth with this 18" brute being the best. Would have stayed longer for some top water but the mosquitoes were getting brutal.
