That looks like a very pretty area Argail. Not a single ripple on the water.

Great looking pond there!!

Im headed off to my pond of insanity this weekend. Should be good. Taking my buddy who is just starting out with me. This is the pond where average bass is 1.5-2lbs, they always eat topwater and there are monster channel cats cruising for mice. Im taking.....5 or 6 rods with me, its going to be awesome. My buddy isn't going to know whats happened ha.

Had a chance to introduce 18-20 scouts to fly fishing at a camp earlier this week. I was able to show them the advantage of fly fishing. It is way more fun!

Smallmouth being held by a severed arm.

And a picture of a small pike as it swam away. I Had the photo all staged pretty with the fish beside the rod, and as I got the camera ready, he threw the hook, and slid back into the water.

Couple decent fish caught over the last couple days. Sauger was a surprise. First of the year. This one was the bigger of the two I caught that day.

And then this decent smallie was the only fish I landed all day.

Sauger is cool. I keep forgetting to to go this creek where the walleye come in to spawn and try to catch some. Maybe some day.

Wow, that sauger looks cool. I wish we had more of them in Michigan, I'd love to go after them

Thanks. Nice thing about the Mississippi River. Just throw a black bugger and who knows what you'll catch.
