Finally got in to some real fish on the Featherlight! It's weird; like a lightswitch, all the fish are back in the creek. My favorite time of year.

More from sh*tter creek... Last couple times I've gotten a bonus bass... They sure do put a nice bend in the featherlight.

Couple from today. Tied up a few small black buggers cuz they'll catch anything with an appetite and attached a sink tip to my featherlight to get down and beat the strong wind. With the added poly tip it really made casting into the wind a breeze.

Some of tonight's catch. Lots of meaty bluegills and small bass. Finally hooked a nice bass but he swam away with my last wooly bugger.

Some fat bluegills, I have my fair share of fun going after them with my 3wt.

Ive never had much luck with streamers. I generally didnt start fishing until later in the season when top water picked up anyways. But with all the reading I did on the forum this winter about how to fish streamers I started earlier this season. Had a some decent success last night on a black wooley bugger. 3 or 4 medium sized (10-12") bass and a bunch of gills.
