things have really been warming up in north alabama!!! the glass rods have been bending nonstop

First smallies of the year. First one was pushing 18" and fat. 2nd was 18.5" and a bit thinner.

First time out with the fly rod this year when I hooked this guy...#10 Olive crayfish (Back in late March early April)

dry fly action incredibly... sometimes you can see fish jumping out of the water for damselflies... I tied this fly, call green hopper this time no pics redear sunfish, caught three, but they are restless fled from me... (by the way, their behavior is different from regular bream, fight harder...)

Feast was on last week. Yesterday the spawn started so it will be a slow couple of weeks.
