That's a pretty good range of species. A few you don't see people do much on a fly. :thumbup:

Nice fish, I have caught the same species over the years on fly. want to get a bowfin and eel to complete all the warm water fish in pa..

Nice fish!

Warmwater fishing has that going for it more than anything else. The number of species you can pursue is huge and they are often close to home.

We're fortunate to have a very diverse waterway with access to a lot of different species. Catfish are definitely one of the hardest fighting freshwater fish on the fly. Not the prettiest or most elegant but they sure put up a hell of a fight! They're surprisingly easy to catch with the fly too.

Those are some nice looking fish! What did you use to catch the catfish on? I've been wanting to try and get one on a fly but not sure what would work...

I caught the catfish at the base of a weir. I was casting up into the current seam and letting my fly drift down past me. Best flies are leech patterns, crayfish patterns, and dragonfly nymph patterns. Big, buggy looking flies. Most anglers here use a drift method with the fly and it can be very effective.

Didgeridoo: Very nice list of warm water fish and some great looking photos, thanks for sharing! I had no idea what to use for catfish!

Impressive assortment...congrats:thumbsupu( a famous french fisherman said years ago:there's no fish that can't be caught with a fly....you show he was right;))
