hey everyone i was just wondering if anyone knew of any good QUALITY 8' fly rods for under $100. i live a small lake (about 69 acares) and i do all of my fishing from a small 11 foot kayak. i think im gonna get a 8' rod with a 3 or 4 weight reel. and im just thinking if i need to get the line out there i can haul or double haul. so anyone know of anything?!?!?!?!?!?!?

kayakcruser,
I would suggest that you send a PM to The Full Creel (the owner of this site, http://www.thefullcreel.com, and http://www.aztecangler.com)and see what he can do for you in that price range? He may have some sort of combo deal that may work for you. Steve has been more than generous to the members of this site. Check and see.

Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Terry

I've fished the ECHO Classic 8' 4wt that Steve stocks and it would work very well for your purposes. I would rather have a 8'6" if i was sitting in a kayak, but that's your call.

My TFO Pro series 8'6" 3wt might be just the kind of thing you're looking for also.

BigCliff and I are set in line with alternate universes.

I've fished the ECHO Classic 7'9'' 3wt that Steve stocks and it would work very well for your purposes. I also have TFO Pro series 8'6" 4wt might be just the kind of thing you're looking for also.

Wow, like dejavu.

that combo i told you that i got from steve was a tfo set-up. got the rod for around what your looking at. never know he might have something else on hand that might suit you just fine that he'll cut you a good deal on. and how many places do you know of that'll give you a 21 day test-drive plan.
