Default Finally the rain let up

If only for a few hours...it was all I needed.
Been a deluge since Sunday or so but we got a break about 5pm today and it didn't take me 15 minutes to be on the water.

The sun even tried to peak out for a minute.
Made slightly sweeter by the fact that all fish caught were on flys I tied...lucky for me this fish aint too bright
Far cry from the biggest fish but boy they're fun on a 2lb tippet.

A hand tied franken fly Franz. I'd take a pic of it for you but they ate it... it wasn't the pattern I don't think so much as presentation...3-6" under the surface and strip the line 3-4" FAST and let it sit for 20-30seconds btw. I caught nearly a dozen like that tonight with the occasional bass thrown in.
