Default Flies for Carp?

Hey guys planning on doing some carp fishing in a relatively small creek wondering what kinda fly I should use. I would try something that resembles mulberrys but there are no trees along the creek the creek has minnow and crawdads in it so I'm thinking brown or olive wooly bugger

My friends and I have caught some carp while fishing for chub with a "chub special" nymph ....in fact I've also caught dace, trout and even graylings with itlooks like the best colors for carp are beige and black.

The following you tube video shows a fly that I tied and used for catching carps. It works like charm.

I use mostly soft hackle nymphs and San Juan worms. Good luck!

the only carp i have ever caught on a fly was taken on a rust colored cone head wooly bugger. it was caught last spring while i was deep prospecting for bass in my local lake.
it was fun, and i may pursue them more in the future.
