Bluegill, Green Sunfish, then carp. i'll add smallies to the list eventually.

think about this...how many people started or got hooked on fishing because of bluegill? ever hooked into a BIG one? they fight really well. The green sunfish in my local creek are top in the list because they are my local peacock bass. a big fancy fly will drop on the water and they will hit it so hard almost instantly its crazy. Carp are just carp, they are plain awesome and worthy freshwater foes.

For catch & release fun, with lots of action, some leaps, and some strong runs, they are hard to beat as a relatively abundant gamefish.
Yea, what he said! Hands down it is creek smallies for me!

Toss up for me between smallmouth and muskies..after a long fishless day on the water the smallmouth always has the lead as the favorite, until the next toothy critter wrecks my fly!

Peacock Bass because they fight hard, and are agressive takers, and beautiful to look at.
