Default Why, hello handle-face (trip report)

Every so often, I get to take advantage of a connection my in-laws have, and fish the best private lake I know of. It turns out that owners of major tackle companies tend to have good fishing at their places.

I mostly fished gear, because I was the only one coordinated enough to manage the trolling motor's foot control while fishing, and we had winds blowing about 15-20mph all wknd.

One morning I got up real early and found a few on foot that ate flies-

All told I probably caught 30 bass over 3lbs while I was there.

Not bad at all

Great report thats got to be a ton of fun landing tank bass on the fly. I have been trying to nail some down lately with this heatwave but nothing yet.... Anyway hope to hear more!

Wow, great fish! Those photos look more like a season's highlights rather than one morning of fishing.
