Default Finally

I have been taking my new rod that I got for Christmas out the last two weeks and have been gunning for anything that will bite with no luck what so ever.....until last night.
I hit a crappie bite an hour or so before dusk and they were killing my fly. I had a clouser minnow with drab green and yellow colors. It was a fish a cast for a while there and I ended up going home about an hour later than I expected.
I literally was untangling my fly line with the hook in the water when I caught my last fish. They loved it.
I went home and tied four more just in case.
My buddy in a boat on the other side of the lake (the one that brags a lot) was catching nothing on his casting setup. HeHeHe It was fun telling him about the killer bite that he missed.

Tight lines

Jason: Congrats! Makes those trips where you get skunked all worth the effort and perseverance!
