Default what to do when the customer isn't home

Went to a friend's house this morning to do a plumbing job for him and found he wasn't home.
Figured I might as well make the best of the situation, so I strung the 3wt Lamiglas rod & went to his pond.
Several 'gills & a couple green sunfish made me forget my frustrations.

plumbing job.... What's this 'job' word that you speak of? Is there more to do than fishing?
