Love the photos. Nice to see someone stop and smell the roses. I sometimes get too fixated on just catching fish and miss some of the other good stuff that's around.

I have found lots of good and likewise lots of bad in and along the rivers of North America. I tend to focus on the good because there is almost always more of it. The pictures on the opening post were great!

I saw something yesterday that I had to share
In the pool above the riffle where I was fishing there was a family of wood ducks. A momma and 7-8 little ducklings. And they were little...
Wood ducks are small anyway, but these little chicks were no more than 2 inches long. Tiny little things. The whole train of momma and babies wasn't much more than a foot long

Also on a positive note
Yesterday, I cleared some trails along a stretch of river that my club sponsors. Even though this river runs right along side the interstate, I didn't see one piece of trash. Other people in our crew, in other areas, did pick up a few bags full, but where I was there was none

Always loved the Woodies, here I see mostly green wing teal.
