Great photos and congrats on all the different varieties of fish, that is quite the fishing location. Like you I don't care for snakes either. Not many snakes here at 7,200 ft so my wading is much more relaxed.

Sankes are my good luck charm!! its not a good day of fishing til I see a snake. Usually the fishing picks up 10 fold once i see them. im not supersitious at all......ha

I try to keep my distance from snakes. I have even seen aggressive garter snakes. They are not poisoness but they can still give nasty bites. If you want to see a lot of snakes go to Reelfoot lake in western TN. It is snake heaven. Good fishin too.

"Why does it always have to be snakes?!" As an archaeologist, I can't help but throw that movie quote out there...
