Poached Carp (Trip Report)

I shoulda started earlier. The water mighta hit 90 degrees by the time I got back to the car at 3.

The fish were smart enough to start hiding shortly after noon. I'll let the pics tell the tale.

This 20" channel cat spooked when I went to grab his tail-

Yeah, but only after two quarts of gatorade to put back what I sweat out while fishing. My wife asked if I was going to mow when I got home and I LOL'd.
