Default Does anyone here do gear reviews?

I have been designing poppers for nearly 40 years and would like to send a few poppers samples to some of the more experienced members for their honest review.

I sell the majority of my work on eBay and get great feedback, but it falls short of an angler's review. I currently have around 40 different patterns ranging in size from #12 poppers for panfish, to #2/0 for muskie and pike to saltwater surf and coastal species.

All I ask is that the reviewers pay actual shipping via PayPal, which is $1.64, and you complete the review form that I will send you.

If anyone is interested you can email me at jamison.lure.n.fly@gmail.com.

Thanks for considering.

Question Re: Does anyone here do gear reviews?

No link to see what they look like, etc., (I assume good) but often wondered how these (small ones) would work as a 'top water' skating fly for Steelhead. Any feedback on that?

I have not tried my small poppers for this, but I make a hot-pink, flat-faced popper for stealies. Well, at least Erie tributaries. I have one client who fishes a 2/0 popper and goes after salmon in Alaska. He orders 3 dozen every year, so I assume he is catching something.

What colors would you like to review for stealhead? I am thinking yellows, reds, hot pink and white. If you are interested in doing a review on here, just contact me at jamison.lure.n.fly@gmail.com.

Just wanted to say thank you who are willing to do reviews. I should be done with my most recent production run and will be getting those out to you. Some of the patterns are completely untested, so the more detail you can provide in your feedback and review the better.

Thanks again!

Very kind offer, and I would like to try in hot pink and white. E-mail off to you in a moment.
