Joni,

Nice carp! Just like over here in PA, the smallmouth are in steep decline........ but the carp don't seem to mind the polluted waters?

If things are tough, try some of those scented plastic corn and round balls...... nobody will know that you aren't using a fly! LOL

I even tried a little Euro Carp fishin' this year. They use long rods with electronic bite sensors on the rod holders..... and they mostly use a "hair rig" which is a floating scented ball above a small hook near a corn filled sinker! You just sit there and talk and wait for the "sensors" to ring with a run off.

The great "Bob Clouser" from here in central PA now goes out for carp with a fly rod?
