You have not said what you will be targeting. Trout, warmwater, salt?? It does make a difference. That kit does look decent but I would also stay away from a kit. I started that way years ago and it was a waste of money for me. Live and learn. I started tying poppers and hair bugs for panfish and bass. I still use a lot of surface stuff and I also use a lot of craft foam. Bucktail, marabou, calf tail, estaz and synthetic hair are my favorites.
