Default They aren't monsters, but...

... It was fun anyways! Caught 15 the other day on my new rod and reel from Allen. I have no regrets at all!

I got about 9 LMB of those size myself this past weekend. Should be a blast on the new 2wt I have coming.

Looks like a very pretty spot you are fishing at, and looks like it got pretty dark before you left.

bpeterson: Congrats on the great looking fish and photos! Loved the look of that frog pattern you were using.

Nice pictures! Remember catching fish is generally better than not catching them, even if they are small

Beats the heck out of work. Fish don't need to be monters to be fun and it looks like it was that.

What really makes me jealous is you are in shorts. I'm still in winter clothes here.

I also really like that reel. Sharp looking.

Edit: That bottom photo should be posted in show us your photography. That's a frameable shot there

I'm headed out to the water after work today. Hopefully I'll have a few pictures just like these to put up. Most of the feeding bass around here are exactly that size right now.

I had great luck on a baby bass bendback minnow the other day, but the MVP fly was one of my own creation. I'll throw a good picture of it up tonight. It's also the best fly I've ever created (or used) for bluegill. I'm legitimately convinced it could be professionally popular if it had the chance.

What a hoot!! That lake looks ooh so "bassy", ought to have a gator or at least a mean looking moccasin to keep things interesting.

I love largemouths of every size, they give it all they got everytime. Your just educating them so they be bigger next time.

Got a spot where my sons & I fly fish for smaller bass and it one of our most valued spots! My oldest has the same shorts, I think they have magical fish catching power. We're in Houston and are well into wearing shorts this year.
