Default Frogs and Bass!

well i got up early this morning to beat the heat and humidity for some topwater action at a new private lake i got access to. the lake has lots of grass, algae, sunken pines, and lily pads.....so that meant i was packing my TFO 8wt. shorty i had lots of awesome blow ups on this BIG double 4/0 froggy. heres just one pic of the cookie cutter fish i caught all morning....yes every hook up resulted in a fish this size!

Nice fish! Looks like a great day on the water. That frog pattern looks intense! Did you tie it? No wonder they hit it so hard.

It cast better than some of my 1/0 pencil poppers. The frog body is hollow so not much weight.

I have officially been motivated... I'm gonna hit the Susquehanna this evening. I'll start with a streamer or 3 and then give me mini frog poppers a whirl
