Default NC Lake trip

Had a family outing this past weekend, so had a chance to go home to the lake and squeeze some fishing in. Caught a bunch of bluegills and bass but nothing to brag about. However, finally got two carp. These are the first carp of the year for me and one jack. Man it was fun just to get out and away. Caught the jack on a size 2/0 olive and white bendback and the carps on a size 6 crayfish pattern

Oh man, that brings back memories of a trip I did 10 or so years ago to Lake Long in Adarondikes catching smallmouth and pike. That area is just beautiful!

I'd move there except the winters I imagine are brutal for a SC native like me.

WTG! Nice fish!

Oh no. I just realized the post was a NC lake trip. For some reason I pictured a NY lake trip.

2962 blonde moment of the year!
