I hit the 'Like' button, but I'm conflicted. Everyone know the real way to do perch is sauteed in lemon-butter.

Give a range report on that fryer! I'm heading to Naples to visit the old man on Sunday and he can't (or shouldn't) do fried anymore for heart reasons, but he loves his fried fish. If that thing works and isn't a beotch to clean I'll buy one and do up a mess of bluegills or sea trout.

fq13,

It is a wonderful thing! Very popular over seas (so they say), but folks don't know about it here in the US!

I was flippin' channels on my TV last week, and on HSN a pretty girl showed a "no oil" deep fried fish fillet! LOL I fell off my chair and ordered one that night!

It's a Philips for $210 (flex payments of $41 if you like)

I'm a single guy now. I cook all my own stuff, and I catch a lot of fish, so this is what I like to eat!

So easy to use, and clean. Your dad would love it! No grease on the stove, and it is quiet and shuts off when done. I'm a lazy guy, and not a cook at all! LOL but this thing is perfect for a guy like me!

Fried foods are great, but the stinkin' oil fat will make you a fat pig if you eat it often! This fryer uses no oil at all with the french fries (they are probably the best crunchy fries I have ever eaten) and only a tiny amount of olive oil in the fish coating! And olive oil is actually good for you.

Tomorrow, I'm going to make some "Teriyaki Glazed Perch" which uses no oil at all (not even olive oil)

My first try made the best fillets ever!

Check it out on the internet @ hsn!

It comes with a cookbook:

fq13,

I am a descendant of the mighty Vikings (my family line goes back to the folks who ate a lot of fish), so fish is my favorite food...... it's hereditary for me? And to be a "Over Lord" I can't eat all that fatty food! Sure, we Vikings are big muscular guys, but not fat guys!!

A fat guy is not a big guy? That is so crazy to hear? Cook with no fat, dude!

Maybe this video can explain:

That Air Fryer looks like a great idea. I'd have one but they are rediculously expensive. Too bad too. I'd love to have one.

lotech,

Yeah, but this air fryer is kind of a "high tech" thing?

Would you change your name to hightech_joe?

I would if my income tripled.
