Default Missouri River Carp

Me and a buddy decided that we'd float the Missouri, yesterday. I managed to float a size 12 elk-hair caddis into the mouth of an asian carp, but I broke him off... However, between the two of us, we managed to land a 10lb, 12lb, and 24lb grass carp.

Going to see if I can land one of those 50 pounders next. These had my 8 weight bent all the way over.

I seen and cast at a few that were 40+ pounds....its alittle terrifing casting at them when they are THAT big. These fish I'm seeing are easy 50" long. Maybe if I land one I wont be thought as so crazy for needing an 11wt for them.

My Buddy had that big one on a ten weight and it had it bent to the Max. It's amazing what these beasts can do!
