Nice job! We target these on the Missouri River. We fish for them every weekend when the weather gets hot. A lot if fun! Let me know if you need any fly pattern suggestions! Wait until you hook into a 25-50 pound monster! Click the image to open in full size.

Awesome. I got out this weekend on the S Platte...but the clowds rolled in and I only got to cast to one pod...no luck.

Word, I hooked into a 30-40 pounder two summers ago and it felt like a semi had attached to the end of my rod. It got off shortly after that thought.

Super jealous!!

Aside from a few failed attempts at a golf course pond in FL, I haven't really had the opportunity to go after grass carp. I have no problem finding and hooking up with the commons but I WANT a grass carp under my belt!
