The carp in our city (Albuquerque) do not seem to key in on any ONE fly. We caught these carp on San Juan Worms, Eggs, Stonefly nymphs, crawfish imitations, and even dry flies. They're so random here!

Really enjoyed watching your video. I mostly fly fish for trout here in OZ but am becoming increasingly interested in hooking carp on a fly. I had a session at a nearby lake a few weeks ago and pitched all sorts of flies at or close to carp. Sadly no luck. I wondered if most of the carp were more interested in making little carps as there were groups of fish swirling and splashing in the shallows.Will have another go soon.
