Missing Florida Already!

Hey All,

I just spent 5 days fishing in Florida and despite the oppressive heat, managed to scare up a few fish! My dad and I spent 3 days fishing in Marathon and then another day and a half fishing the golf course ponds in Boca. Great mixed bag fun.

If I only had one fly to take with me it would be my trusty Gartside Gurgler as it brought all of these fish to hand!

man the memories u brought in my head. i lived in dania a while. peacock bass fly fishing at its best. fly to fort lauderdale airport. take griffin road till u cant go more. this is everglasdes holidsy park. the beginning of alligator alley. best i did was a 7 lb'r on a 5 inch flashy streamer
