Default Lunchtime biking/fishing...

In my quest to scratch the cycling and fly-fishing itch, I have been hitting the local water close to my work during lunchtime. Riding my cross bike in search of fish.

This particular lake is choked full of bluegill, bass and stocked trout. On this day, however, mostly bluegills were biting but all is well. Weather is cool and the sun is out. And best of all, I was able to scratch the itch even if itís only for an hour.

Have a great day!

Nice fall bike ride to the lake.

What an awesome spot! You are so fortunate to have a spot that close to your work where you can catch fish during lunch. Super jealous!

The hook in that second photo sure looks like it has been worked over by those fish.
What a great way to spend a lunch hour, congrats!
Are you using a small backpack to carry your fly rod?

Jerry's flies will take a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

I use fly rod carrier with sling and a cheap drawstring backpack to carry fly box, reel and lanyard with tools and tippets. Water bottles on bike comes in handy to wash off fish slime.

Thanks y'all!
