A fly- in trip, every fisherperson's dream.

Where in Canada? Looks a lot like Ontario, went there prolly 10 years back. Been wanting to go back with a flyrod!

Nice Pike! Looks like a blast!

Nice. Whets my appetite. I driving up to Northern Ontario in about 6 weeks. It's a drive in trip. They pick us up at a place called Mowat Landing and it's a 19 mile boat ride to the lodge. The background scenery is one of the things I look forward to. Those are beautiful pike. Unfortunately the lake is not know for it's pike. There are some that big in it but they're few and far between but plenty of smallmouth and walleye. Thanks for sharing it's time to start crossing the days off the calendar.

thanks for sharing the great photos. I also recently returned from a fishing trip at Separation Lake Lodge in Ontario. We caught a lot of fish and many big pike and walleye.

Took a fly rod, but because the smallmouth bite was surprisingly weak and had multiple windy days, I didn't fly fish.

However, your photos provide a fresh reminder of how nice it is to fish in cool, fresh air. You can't beat that.
