the female post spawn large mouths are starting to feed. I caught this one today one a #2 Green Sunfish striped real slow in front of weed beds. A little over 3 and a half pounds. First big one of the year.

Very nice! Was the bluegill pattern an ep fly by chance? Just curious of what type of fly you were using.

here's what I'm using: 3ea Sunfish Green size 2. These are the biggest flies I've ever tried to cast and it was really giving me fits. luckily the action is pretty close to shore for now.

no, I don't sell flys or tie them for that matter. Are you implying something?

I was wondering the same thing. Do you want to buy some flies from someone on this forum? I make some really nice ep fiber flys.

If they're easier to cast then yes I would be interested. These things are my first departure from the standard popper and I'm having some trouble casting them. Plus the googly eyes fall off, not that it matters.
