Default Wow, I have found a new home.

All my life I thought I was the only guy in the South that flyfished for Largmouth. I have been flyfishing all my life and never have fished the typical flowing river fly fishing image.

I have a 20 year old cheap rod I dont know the size and weight of, but it catches tons of fish.

I just got a Mad River Adventure 14. It is kind of a canoe/kayak hybrid and it is perfect.

Favorite rig is a nice white popper in front and a bream killer about 2' back.

Here is a little eye candy from Wednesday night.

Hi Cary,

Welcome to the forum. We have a lot of members that fish warmwater. I think you will enjoy our forum. We are easy going and have very little conflict.

Where are you fishing?

Frank

Hello!! Welcome, I too fish warm water. My first notion of fly fishing was catching trout and only trout in cold streams, however one hot day last year i was practicing my fly casting and thought about bass fishing and to my supprise....it's one hell of an adventure catching bass on a fly rod. I now enjoy the summer months as well as the cold ones too!! happy fishing and keep the bass coming
