Default 11" blue gill

I went out after work for 2 hours in the yak with the 5 wt and caught several gills most about 6" to 8" and 1 monster at 11" very fat full of roe and all released. Biggest gill I ever caught by far! All fish were caught on a size 10 chartruese bugger. Spring has sprung!!!

those 11 inch gills are the best! i got two last spawning season, one was 10.5 and one was about 11! got both of them on a fat albert spider. i would see them slowly creep up to the fly, then WHAM! so much fun!
