Scottsdale?

I am going to be in Scottsdale for a few days the first week of November.
I was there last year, same time, and saw someone head off with a fly rod. He said later he fished a nice tailwater somewhere near there.
Any ideas on this river or any other opportunities near Scottsdale?
You can PM me if you don't want to post them openly.

The salt river below saquaro lake is stocked in the winter with trout. This is east of Scottsdale a few miles. This is the only tail water fishery close to Scottsdale. To keep tabs on the fishery check the website. www.azflyandtie.com When in town you can check in at the Orvis store in scottsdale or Arizona flyfishing in Tempe. They will treat you right.
