Default Park City, Utah fishing?

I'm heading to Park City, Utah on Sunday for my daughter's week-long softball tournament. I will have some time available to do as I please a couple of afternoons and/or evenings. Should I take me gear? Are you having the runoff we are having? If I should take my gear, any advice one can give me as to where to go? I have never been there. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if I will be able to fish; however, I believe in being prepared in case the opportunity presents itself.

Thomas

Just zip around the mountain to the Heber valley and fish the Provo. It'll be crowded but you'll find good water and cooperative fish.

Kelly, thanks for the info. How far, miles or time, is that from Park City?

It's about 15-20 minutes to Heber City. Another thought is the upper Weber River.
We have had heavy runoff also, but levels are slowly dropping and the water is clearing.
Try the Middle Provo below Jordanelle Dam, just as you come over the summit from Park City you'll see it on the left (east) side.

If your interested in a great stillwater give Strawberry Reservoir a shot, one of the best in the west for big Bows and Cutts. It's about a half hour from Heber City.

Park City has a couple shops that can give you the latest scoop.
