Duck Creek, Utah
Greetings Fellow Fly Fisherman,
Hope all is well. I was wondering if anyone knew first hand or second hand of the types of trout in Duck Creek, Utah. I have a trip with the wife up there in July and I know the place is stocked with bows, but some unreliable sources online have mentioned browns and brookies. I'm tired of catching bows quite frankly, so I was hoping to get some info on that place. Anything helps. Thanks. Catch and Release as always, FYI. Thanks. - UCAngler

Never heard of it until this post. I checked and it looks like a resort of some type. Aspen- Mirror Lake is close by. It's in southern Utah by Bryce Canyon NP and Cedar Breaks. There used to be a fly shop in St. George called Red Rocks Fly shop, and they might be able to help. I'd also call Duck Creek and check with them. Or just bring an assortment of flies. There could be some browns in the rivers and some cutts too.

I've heard nothing from that region (SW Utah) other than it's hot right now, and not talking about the fishing (near 100* F).
Sounds like rainbows is the game though... sorry. I assume Duck Creek is not actually a creek, but an area with fishing nearby? Duck Creek Village

Stocked bows, a few native reproducing bows and brookies. Haven't caught any browns. Biggest cranefly larvae I've ever seen anywhere...
Just about any dry fly attractor (Renegade, Adams, Royal Coachman, etc.) they are not too picky. Good luck.

As promised, I said i was going to get back to you all after trip.
Great time. 30 fish caught over the 4 days I fly fished. Thanks for help.
