Not from Nevada, but I have fished Pyramid before.(get your ladder out) Lahontans are freakin amazing.
There is a friend of mine on here that lives in Sparks also, maybe you guys can get together and go fish them 'purple estaz wooly worms'.

Building a rod for him right now for that purpose.

Heading up to Pyramid the middle of March, can't wait!!! Should be a real kick in the pants. Will post a report upon our return! Any suggestions for patterns other than wolley's, tadpoles, beetles and the like?

Hi
I live 60 miles north of Reno in CA (Herlong) and fish the lakes here. I have never fished Pyramid but go to Gillys on Rock Blvd in Sparks. If Jerry is there he can tell you all about it and other local places. There is a FF club that you can join. He will have that information also. Actually anyone who works there should know what is what in the area. If you like trolling with flys PM me and we can set something up when the lakes thaw out up here.

Pyramid has been tremendous all spring. Its the darn wind that plays havoc with me up there. This weekend I'm heading up to Spooner ... hopefully it warms up a bit.

Everyone loves to fish Pyramid but I would much rather spend a day on any river in the Truckee Meadows. I can't stand fishing there.
