I live in Boise (2 1/2 hour south). McCall is a beautiful place. Lots of good lake fishing nearby. Good trout fishing in the mountains in all directions. If you like winter sports and like to fish, you have landed in a good spot. Best of luck.

Hey I bought some leaders from you! Good stuff. I use lamson reels and cutthroat leaders and eberlestock packs, once i get my chris reeves knife i will have a full boise made collection. I am from northern Nevada but boise is our closest big town so a lot of our business goes to boise. I spend most of my winters snowmobiling out of a friends cabin in cascade too. When I got the opportunity to crash land in mccall for awhile I figured why not?

Yes, you could have picked a worse spot.... That is for sure. Lots of great hot springs to snowmobile into during the winter. Welcome to area. If you are still around in the spring, maybe we will meet up on some local water.
