Here is a view out the back of the property.

Here's the barn.

Ok, as promised, when I went back I took the rod out.

I fished above the picture of the huge water fall.

This is right atop the falls.

This was a common occurrence.

I will be going back next week. It will be a nice fishing trip without having to worry about a hotel or a camp spot. Sorry to the locals but another outsider is moving in to Yellowstone country! I hope to fit right in.

Well played sir! The wife and I plan to retire to Island Park, but have to wait just a few more years. It will be great to have you close so we can get on the water together.

Come March and April we have to get together and fish some of my favorite haunts.

Kelly.

The house is modest to say the very least and I will be working hard to get it all into shape. The location is what did it for me. The wife and I had decided on Talkeetna but the airfare and the pain of flying is what changed our mind.

I am so excited I can't sit still....Kelly is taking me fishing!! The house is exciting too.

I missed this thread earlier, so please accept a belated "Welcome to Idaho!" Now that we've lived here for 8 years I guess I'm allowed to be a member of the Welcome Committee. Your place is in a gorgeous part of the state.
