fly fishing for the first time. I have fished my whole life with a spin caster and am looking to get in to fly fishing. I have mainly fished lakes in Colorado and I don't know a whole lot about the rivers. Another thing is, I fish because I LOVE trout. It is yummy for my tummy!!!! Is there any good places to start fly fishing where I would be able to keep the fish that I catch?

Hi troutastic,

Welcome to the forum. You only need to start a thread in one Forum. Your post will be seen by all as a New Post.

Your best bet for fish to eat is the local Fish and Game Department. Find out what waters are stocked in the area you want to fish. All large Trout should be returned to the water.

Frank

Welcome to the board. I am unfamiliar with Colorado, but I'm sure you'll find plenty of folks on here to help you out. Good luck and tight lines!
