Default Re: Vises?

I use a knock off regal. Works great.

Currently use a Griffin Odyssey Spider.. Nice true rotary vice for under $100... Have tied #24 all the way to 4/0... Will be my vice til I make a final upgrade eventually to a Regal

I use a Regal pedestal vise (upgraded from a Danvise) and could not be happier. Its great for everything from small nymphs to big tubes.

I use a Dyna King Prince. It's one of their out of production fixed head angle models. It's about as sleek and streamlined as a vice can get. It does nothing but hold hooks. Having started out on a Thompson A, I have always preferred the fixed heads. It's like a turbo charged Thompson that actually holds hooks! Crappy pic of my happy place.

I use a Regal for most tying, and a home made vise (made from Vice Grips) for anything too big for the Regal.

While Dyna-King now calls it the"Ergonomic Supreme", when I got it many years ago it was known as their "Salt Water Special". Regardless of name and absent the end of the world, this will be my vise for as long as I am tying.
