Film Festival Ties Up With FFF
Bird Marketing Group Inc. and Fly Max Films are pleased to announce an innovative partnership between the International Fly Fishing Film Festival and the International Federation of Fly Fishers.
The new partnership will see the International Fly Fishing Film Festival presented as an official fundraising program from the International Federation of Fly Fisher’s national office to all clubs and councils and will also see the Federation included as an official sponsor of the festival effective with the 2013 screening cycle.
“This is a significant development that will have a positive impact nationally for both organizations”, says festival Co-Founder and Bird Marketing Group President Chris Bird, “the International Fly Fishing Film Festival is a perfect fundraising tool for clubs and is a proven asset to larger events such as the Federation’s International Fly Fishing Fair taking place in Spokane later this year.”
“We are proud to partner with the International Fly Fishing Film Festival to bring this opportunity to our Clubs, Councils and the public,” says Philip Greenlee, President/CEO of the Federation of Fly Fishers. “Our organization’s motto is ‘Conserving, Restoring and Education through Fly Fishing’, and we have to find innovative ways to get our message to the public. We believe the partnership with the film festival will help us do that, while giving us the ability to raise funds for our cause. The partnership is a win for the Federation of Fly Fishers, a win for the International Fly Fishing Film Festival and a win for the people who love our sport. We hope that the public will support our endeavors by attending one of the many events that will be held across the United States in 2013.”
The International Federation of Fly Fishers, with over three-hundred clubs, is the only organized advocate on a international, national and regional level for the fly-fishing community representing all aspects of the sport from the art of casting instruction and fly tying, to the protection of fisheries.
