C.F. Burkheimer Expands Advisory and Pro Staff
C.F. Burkheimer is excited to announce a number of new additions to both its Advisory Staff and Pro Staff. Steelhead and bluewater legend Trey Combs is onboard in an Advisory position, as are Wales-based Illtyd Griffiths and Lori & Terry Nicholson, founders of Denver, Colorado’s Anglers All fly shop. New Burkheimer Pro Staffers include Bighorn Trout Shop co-owner Hale Harris, Team Japan member Kuni Masuda, and Rich Paini, partner and general manager of TroutHunter in Island Park, Idaho.
“We are so pleased to have this new group of exceptional guides and industry people join the Burkie crew,” said Kerry Burkheimer, owner of C.F. Burkheimer. “We welcome our long-time friend, Trey Combs, and we are truly pleased that Lori, Terry, and Illtyd have joined us, as well.”
Burkheimer sees members of its Advisory Staff as collaborators in the rod creation process, as well as being sources for educational and entertainment media. The three new Advisory Staff members also join Burkheimer’s recently expanded Pro Staff of guides in promoting the company’s rods, and in hosting casting and fishing clinics.
“We view our Pros as the everyday, ‘out-there-doing-it’ staff,” said Burkheimer. “They’re a highly talented group, and they provide essential feedback, especially in terms of how our rods perform in a guide/client setting. We are fortunate to have such a great crew on-board.”
C.F. Burkheimer was founded more than 25 years ago and continues to make fly rods one at a time, one of a kind. All Burkheimers are designed and built in a little shop in a little town along the banks of a very big river. C.F. Burkheimer — Hand-Rolled Soul (TM)
