Train to Teach Kids Fly Fishing with NFSP

The National Fishing in Schools Program (NFSP) utilizes a 3-tiered training regimen to prepare teachers in schools who wish to educate their students using the "Fishing in Schools" curriculum. NFSP will be holding training in Sacramento in January for any educators interested.

 

At least one teacher from each school must be certified to teach the curriculum prior to its implementation in a "Fishing in Schools" institution.

What: NATIONAL FISHING IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM TRAINING for NFSP Level 1, Level 2 and Mentor certifications

When:

  • Level 2 NFSP training: Friday & Saturday, Jan 4 & 5, 2013
  • Level 1 NFSP training: Saturday, Jan 5, 2013
  • NFSP Mentor training: Saturday, Jan 5, 2013

Times: 9 am to 4 pm both days

Where: SACRAMENTO STATE UNIVERSITY; building/room YSM 127

Cost: The cost is $50 per day. This training fee is credited back to your organization/school when an NFSP Curriculum Kit is purchased.
