Description: This is another iteration of Harry Murray's Mr. Rapidan Skater that I tied to mimic the Hexagnia as they are taking off the water. I caught a 24+ inch bass that I would estimate at 7.5 lbs. wit the fly picture. I cut it off the line and retired it.

Description: Yet another client request from the left coast, San Diego to be exact. She is a tuna boat charter captain who relaxes by fishing the surf, inshore salt, and some of the big CA reservoirs and wanted a popper that could do it all. In the salt this does a good job of imitating a small mullet, and in the lakes it becomes a shad. My wife says that this is a "pretty popper."

Description: After having several large bass crush the bass I just caught I decided to cut out the middle man and give the bucket mouths what they were looking for. This is a 2/0 size set on SS saltwater hooks, so it takes at least an 8wt rod to get it out there.

Description: This was requested by a client who fishes coastal rivers for largemouth, and sometimes redfish. He said the pink resembles some of the shrimp that venture in and out of the coastal waters. I caught a 43" redfish last year on a NC OBX vacation. Oh, it works in Ohio, too!
