That's a big puppy, what do you think he weighed?

    Dave
I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.

We didn't do much fishing this year due to other projects early and the Copper got absolutely choked with sockeye and over the bank flooding this fall. We did a bit of hunting here this fall and trapping season is in full swing.albums/q4/waterratpics/DSC00276.jpg[/IMG]

Everything was EARLY this year on the Lake,,,,the Copper was full of big trout spawning all May and then most were ragged and came back into the lake. No the river is overrun with small fish making it a nuisance to fish. If you sight fish you may still catch a larger fish but expect to catch 100's of midgets. Now I'm just gonna work all summer and wait for fall!

My bride outfished me all year! Here's a couple of brown bears that didn't drop to the shot,in both cases I enlisted my wife and Karelian Bear Dog to track them down. Both were very much alive and some close shooting (but fast) got the job done!
