View Full Version : Dive boots for my waders??

I'm looking for boots for my waders and someone suggested using dive boots. He said they are light and don't get water logged. I'm fishing mostly in saltwater. I have really wide feet and am having finding boots that fit.

Has anyone tried that?

I use the Orvis low flats booties over mine for years. Love them for fishing the surf. check them out. dive boots should work the same I guess. do they have a sole like the orvis ones ? I can even put korkers on over them and walk jettys.

I have been thinking of using something similar for float tubing so I don't wear out my wader booties when using fins.

I like boot-foots when I fish the salt, but my buddy wears the Cabela's Bone Sneaker™ (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=cat601979_feat&id=0023790830474a&navCount=1&podId=0023790&parentId=cat602117&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true)
They have a new model and are closing out the old ones
I'm not sure about how wide they are, that's an issue with me too.

(Apparently they only have sz 9 left at the close out price)
