These are from Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing, by Joe Bates
All are considered "Trout Fin's" even though the Harlequin is blue.
The two Orange patterns were developed independently by two different folks around the same time - I tied them with slightly different colored orange goose quills to signify that difference. The red one is tied for canadian trout, as they have a redder appearance, apparently!
I just sold these flies as a set (as well as some other flies) on ebay...All are tied on Size 4 8xl Gaelic Supreme hooks, though you could probably also strap them to a size 4 alec jackson and get the same effect, or maybe better looking flies.
I know Ard has his own char fin spey fly, and I did an enhanced model of that a couple years ago...
No doubt about it though, the 'trout fins' are awesome patterns...
