Leaving today and staying in a park cabin in Beaver Bend Park. If you see a guy in a Black Toyota Tundra Limited with a bed cover with a beautiful long haired brunnette, it will be me. I hope to get some fishin' in on Saturday but it looks pretty grim for Sunday's weather. That's OK. We need the rain. I'll make the rounds with Sid & Jess Sat. morning and let them know where I'll be. If you see me say "Hi". And if anyone has any last words of advise for this novice on what flies are working well for the Spillway Creek please let me know.
Thanks,
Terry

Flies with peacock herl in them have served me best on spillway creek. Princes, zug-bugs, copper johns, red asses, and partridge and peacock are all good. Size 16 and 18 in the slow sections, and 12 and 14 in the faster water. Get the fly down, don't fish the same spot too long, and watch your footing and you should do well enough.
