Prince Edward Island Brook Trout Help Please?

Hi,
We're planning a trip to PEI for the first time for the last week of June. I'd like to go fly fishing for Brook trout. I plan on wading and don't need to catch huge fish, but some numbers would be nice. My wife would like to stay in a cottage on a beach. We will be renting a car and flying into Charlettown. We can pretty much go anywhere. Any suggestions for a nice beach with fairly warm water near a wadeable brookie stream or two? Bonshaw sounds nice, not sure how it's doing lately.

Welcome to the forum,

PEI has many small streams and rivers and almost all have brook trout. There are also salters and coasters that are in the rivers and creeks. Nick Karas wrote a book titled Brook Trout and it will help you to understand them much better if you pick up a copy. He has a nice section dealing with PEI if I remember correctly.
