Default Early Season Fishing in PEI

I am thinking about heading up to PEI (from Maine) in late April or early May for some trout fishing. Good idea, bad idea which rivers to target? Hre a guide? I love the Atlantic Provinces.
    Thanks

I fished the Morell River when I was there. Park at Indian Bridge and walk upstream, at some spots you will actually see the springs rising from the bottom of the river, I believe the local I talked to referred to this as "spring pool". There are plenty of little brook trout I wouldn't say a guide is necessary, mosquitos and adams parachutes worked good for me, but I was there beginning of July. It's a beautiful island hope you enjoy! I plan on heading back in the near future.
